Conservative Republican
Creighton Knight Will Protect Freedom and Opportunity in Idaho
I will fight to protect your right to work and provide for your family regardless of your choice about
getting the covid vaccine.
No Vaccine mandate--people shouldn’t have to choose between the covid vaccine or their job
I will support legislation to keep critical race theory, which teaches that some people are oppresors and others are victims based on their race-out of our schools.
In Idaho we respect all people and must never divide our children based on the color of their skin.
We know that all people are created in God's image with a unique purpose. We must work together to support each other.
Our schools must continue to equip our children with the skills they need to fulfill their purpose.
As your legislator, I will support:
School Choice
Expanding Public Charter Schools
Parental Bill of Rights
Vocational Technical Training
Rapidly rising home values are endangering some with excessive property tax bills. I support reforming property tax to secure your home from high taxes. I believe we can reduce property taxes and maintain sufficient municipal funding.
With Joe Biden Inflation already eating away at our hard-earned dollars, it’s way past time to give relief to Idaho families by eliminating the grocery tax.
My opponent in the Republican primary voted in 2018 against ending the grocery tax. His voting record is full of taxing and spending. He lost re-election in 2018.
As your legislator, I will always work to protect small businesses and ensure a level playing field.
My family owns a small business in Filer---all businesses are ESSENTIAL to the hard-working folks who rely on them to feed their families.
As your legislator, I will support infrastructure funding to protect our water supply; and I will always fight to protect your land and water rights.
I support investments to improve our water recharge efforts and protect our most valuable resource: water. To conserve the water we have, I support raising the level of our dams, and improving irrigation canals with better lining and automation. Estimates are that we can save up to 40% of surface water through lining the canals and automating water gates.
I spent over a decade working in agriculture. My family owns an orchard in Filer. I know firsthand how important Ag is to our economy. From potatoes, beans and grains, to trout, ranching and dairy—Idaho feeds the nation and world with our agricultural goods.
As your legislator, I will always support life.
The US Supreme Court is poised to return to the states the ability to protect the unborn from abortion.
However, as we saw in Georgia, liberal big business lobbyists will pressure states to ignore the will of the people and keep abortion on the books.
As your legislator, I will not be bullied by outside lobbyists and threats—I will support life.
As your legislator, I will always support our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
Liberals in Washington DC are always working to undermine our gun rights. We need legislators who will stand firm against any attempt by any government agency to curb our right to bear arms.
It's our Constitutional right and I will always fight to protect it.
As your legislator, I will not waste Idaho's budget surplus by expanding the size and scope of government.
Surpluses should be returned to tax payers first--and never to expand government bureaucracy.
Idaho is on track to spend $4 Billion on Medicaid-that's more than the $3.3 Billion proposed for public schools.
Medicaid is a ticking time bomb that can blow up our budget and lead to future tax burdens for hard working Idaho residents. I will push for common sense cost controls and work requirements for young able-bodied adults.

Idaho is a special place. Whether we were born here or chose to move here, we all know that this is a blessed place to raise our families and stake our claim to a bright future.
Idaho has seen the highest percentage of new residents in the nation. People are drawn to our freedom, our beautiful land, and the good people who live here.
Here in Idaho, any dream is possible with hard work and determination. We are so blessed to live in a place where God’s handiwork is on display in every sunset, and with the friendly neighbors who are willing to lend a helping hand and even say “hello” in the grocery store.
It is because of my love for our Idaho way of life that I am running to be your representative in the Idaho State Legislature.
As anyone who has lived in other states knows, our Idaho quality of life is not the norm—it must be respected and protected. We know that it is time for true conservative leaders to take the torch and work to preserve our Idaho values and promote the freedom and opportunity which will carry our state into the future. As Ronald Reagan said, “freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.”
As with any place where the fruits of freedom flourish, there will be some who try to change Idaho into the image of more liberal places. There are even some legislators who don’t recognize this threat.
One of my Republican primary opponents, Steven Miller, is a former legislator who voted AGAINST ending the Grocery Tax, and voted with Democrats to keep income taxes high even when the state exceeds revenue targets. He lost his re-election bid in 2018. Attorney Brian Tanner, the other Republican in the primary actually voted for Joe Biden--he shared this on his personal Facebook page in 2020.
Taxing and spending former legislators, and candidates who voted for Joe Biden don't represent the values of the people in District 24. That is why we must elect true conservative leaders who know that it is freedom and opportunity that keep Idaho special --not government programs or big spending.
As your legislator, I will always work to keep Idaho the state where freedom and opportunity remain strong for all citizens. My greatest desire is that our children will have every opportunity to be home in Idaho to raise their families.
Whether you were born here, or got here as soon as you could, if you believe, as I do, that Idaho is a special place and must be preserved for our future generations, then I ask for your vote on May 17th.
